Agriculture futures mixed, livestock prices fall

[March 26, 2010]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were mixed Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery slid 4 cents to $4.72 a bushel; May corn shed 2.5 cents to $3.625 a bushel; May soybeans rose 5 cents to $9.65 a bushel; and May oats were flat at $2.15 a bushel.

Meanwhile, livestock futures fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle slipped 0.12 cent to 92.75 cents a pound; May feeder cattle shed 0.10 cent to $109.42 cents a pound; June lean hogs dipped 0.12 cent to 80.60 cents a pound; and May pork bellies dropped 1.50 cents to 95.20 cents a pound.
