Agriculture futures trade mixed on the CBOT

[April 01, 2010]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were mixed Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery lost 1.75 cents to $4.6475 a bushel, while May corn added 1.25 cents to $3.5625 a bushel and oats for May delivery climbed 5.25 cents to $2.12 a bushel. May soybeans jumped 9.5 cents to $9.52 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef and pork futures traded lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle edged down 0.55 cent to 91.57 cents a pound.

May feeder cattle fell 0.72 cent to $1.0815 a pound,

June lean hogs shed 1.6 cents to 78.02 cents a pound and May pork bellies slid 1.25 cents to 93.7 cents a pound.
