Accident report for Monday, March 29
  • Robinson, Debra L., 53-year-old female, Lincoln; 1996 Honda Accord

  • Alley, Edgar E., 44-year-old male, Lincoln; 2001 Dodge Ram pickup

Accident occurred on March 26 at 8:05 a.m. at the intersection of South Union and Sixth Street.

Robinson reported that she was eastbound on Sixth and came to a full stop at the intersection. She was blinded by the sun, thought the coast was clear and proceeded into the intersection. When she saw the Alley vehicle in front of her, she attempted to stop but was unable to do so. Alley reported that he also attempted to stop before being struck, but was unable to.

Robinson was ticketed for failure to yield the right of way at a stop intersection.

Lincoln Police Department reports for Monday, March 29

  • Bridger, Mistee R., 43-year-old female, Bethalto; arrested March 27 at the Thorntons Travel Plaza on Class A charge of retail theft.

  • Carton, Jamie M., 21-year-old female, Lincoln; arrested March 28 at South State and Second Street on Class A charge of driving with license suspended.

  • Helton, Mark A., 29-year-old male, Lincoln; arrested March 28 on Tremont at Sherman on Class A charge of driving with license revoked. Vehicle was towed from the scene.

  • Johnson, Chelsea M., 19-year-old female, Lincoln; arrested March 24 at Third and Maple on a Logan County warrant for failure to appear on charge related to residential burglary. Additional citation was issued on Class 1 charge of possession of a controlled substance. Bond was set at $25,000, 10 percent.

  • Turley, Timothy J., 21-year-old male, Lincoln; arrested March 26 at the Logan County Safety Complex on a Logan County warrant for failure to appear on charge related to driving under the influence. Bond was set at $3,000, 10 percent.

  • Waller, Kenosha, 21-year-old female, Lincoln; arrested March 27 on Broadway at North Limit on a Logan County warrant for failure to appear on charge related to driving with a license revoked. Bond was set at $3,000, 10 percent.

Atlanta Police Department reports for Monday, March 29

  • Ronzani, Dominic J., 27-year-old male, Zion; arrested March 28 on Class A charge of driving with license revoked. Vehicle was towed from the scene.

  • Weinstock, Ryan J., 24-year-old male, Lake Bluff; arrested March 28 on Class C charge of possession of cannabis less than 2.5 grams.

Logan County Sheriff’s Department reports for Monday, March 29

  • Dias, Luis J., 24-year-old male, Lincoln; arrested March 25 on Route 121 at 1300th Street. Bond was set at $1,000, 10 percent. Vehicle towed

  • Rankin, Joyce E., 55-year-old female, New Holland; arrested March 28 at her residence on Class A charge of driving with license suspended. Bond set at $1,000.

  • White, Brandon N., 21-year-old male, New Holland; arrested March 26 at his residence on two Logan County warrants for failure to appear. Bonds were set at $6,000 and $3,000, 10 percent.

  • Winkelman, Kimberly A., 27-year-old female, Lincoln; arrested March 27 on Class A charge of driving under the influence and Class B charge of possession of cannabis 2.5 to 10 grams. Evidence taken included 2.6 grams of a green leafy substance.

  • Winterbauer, Daniel R., 35-year-old male, Lincoln; arrested March 28 at his residence on Class 3 charge of forgery.

Illinois State Police report for Monday, March 29

  • Olsen, Eric W., 44-year-old male, Chicago; arrested March 27 at Interstate 55 mile marker 136 in the northbound lanes on Class A charge of driving with license suspended. Bond was set at $100 cash. Vehicle towed.
