Agriculture futures trade mixed on the CBOT

[March 31, 2010]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were mixed Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

HardwareWheat for May delivery climbed 7.25 cents to $4.72 a bushel, while May corn lost 2.5 cents to $3.545 a bushel and oats for May delivery added 1.5 cents to $2.135 a bushel. May soybeans jumped 6.5 cents to $9.74 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef and pork futures traded higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle edged up 0.27 cent to 93.17 cents a pound, May feeder cattle rose 1.07 cents to $1.1097 a pound, June lean hogs climbed 2.03 cents to 83.05 cents a pound, and May pork bellies gained 0.85 cent to 97.55 cents a pound.
