[March 31, 2010]  NEW YORK (AP) -- Stocks that moved substantially or traded heavily Tuesday on the New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq Stock Market:

NYSE:

• Danaher Corp., up $3.51 at $80.88
  
  The medical equipment maker boosted its first-quarter profit guidance above analysts' expectations.

• LDK Solar Co., down 55 cents at $6.50
  
  LDK Solar's loss narrowed in the fourth quarter as demand increased for the wafers used in solar panels.

NASDAQ:

• Myriad Genetics Inc., down $1.20 at $23.70
  
  A court overturned a group of patents Myriad uses on gene sequences linked to breast cancer and ovarian cancer.

• Cephalon Inc., down $1.83 at $70.79
  
  The Food and Drug Administration held up marketing approval for its drug Nuvigil as a treatment for jet lag.

• Knight Capital Group Inc., down 46 cents at $15.56
  
  The company said it will acquire mortgage company Urban Financial Group Inc., though terms of the deal weren't disclosed.

• 3Com Corp., up 1 cent at $7.72
  
  The networking systems maker's third-quarter profit jumped on growing sales in most regions and a drop in its income tax provision.

• Morgans Hotel Group Co., up 31 cents at $6.37
  
  An analyst upgraded the high-end boutique hotel company, citing business improvement in New York.

• Benihana Inc., up 86 cents at $6.65
  
  A financier reportedly submitted a sweetened buyout offer to the Asian-themed restaurant chain, which has struggled with falling sales.
