[May 01, 2010]  Community Action announced their Employee of the Quarter. Denise Paige of Monticello was awarded the honor for the work she does as teacher for the Community Action Head Start classroom in Cisco, Piatt County.

Angela Stoltzenburg, executive director; Denise Paige; and Beth Fleshman, Head Start director.

"Denise exemplifies what Community Action is all about. She goes above and beyond in her desire to do whatever it takes to encourage her students and their parents to be successful. I feel privileged and honored to work alongside someone of her caliber," said the co-worker who nominated Paige.

Her peers agree that she always demonstrates a high regard for her staff and shows the same concern and respect for them that she feels for her Head Start children and their families.

She was presented with a plaque and $50 gift card by Angela Stoltzenburg, executive director, and Beth Fleshman, Head Start director and agency deputy director.
