Zonta Club of Lincoln announces 3 scholarship winners

[May 01, 2010]  The Zonta Club of Lincoln is proud to announce that three Lincoln women have been selected to receive the Zonta Women's Career Scholarship for $1,000 each. The club received 16 applications, making the selections all the more difficult.

InsuranceNicole Bartelmay is a senior at Lincoln Community High School and planning to attend Eastern Illinois University in the 2010-2011 school year; Raeann Sheley is a senior at Lincoln Community High School and will attend Butler University during the 2010-2011 school year; and Jenna Hubrich is currently a student enrolled in Illinois Central College's Small Business Administration program and works full time at Culver's.

Founded in 1919, Zonta International is a global organization of executives and professionals working together to advance the status of women worldwide through service and advocacy.

With more than 31,000 members belonging to more than 1,200 Zonta clubs in 67 countries and geographic areas, Zontians all over the world volunteer their time, talents and support to local and international service projects, as well as scholarship programs aimed at fulfilling Zonta's mission and objectives.
