Grain futures trade mostly higher, livestock mixed

[May 06, 2010]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures traded mostly higher Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery rose 1.25 cents to $5.12 a bushel; July corn gained 4 cents to $3.73 a bushel; July soybeans dropped 9 cents to $9.78 a bushel; and July oats were up 2.25 cents at $2.105 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef futures traded higher and pork fixtures were mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle gained 0.68 cent to 96.70 cents a pound; August feeder cattle rose .07 cent at $1.1667 a pound; June lean hogs fell 2.28 cents to 84.47 cents a pound; and May pork bellies rose 1.30 cents to 102.50 a pound.
