Grain futures trade lower, livestock mostly lower

[May 07, 2010]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures traded lower Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery fell 3.75 cents to $5.0825 a bushel; July corn dropped 1.75 cents to $3.7125 a bushel; July soybeans sank 24 cents to $9.54 a bushel; and July oats fell 3.5 cents to $2.07 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef futures traded lower and pork futures traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle fell .85 cent to 95.85 cents a pound; August feeder dropped 1.15 cent to $1.1552 a pound; June lean hogs fell .37 cent to 84.10 cents a pound; and May pork bellies gained .2 cent to $1.027 a pound.
