Grain futures trade mostly higher, livestock mixed

[May 08, 2010]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures traded mostly higher Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery rose 2.25 cents to $5.105 a bushel, July corn gained .75 cent to $3.72 a bushel, July soybeans jumped 6 cents to $9.60 a bushel and July oats slipped 1 cent to $2.06 a bushel.

Meanwhile, livestock futures traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle gained .05 cent to 95.90 cents a pound, August feeder cattle dropped .65 cent to $1.1487 a pound, June lean hogs gained 1.42 cents to 85.52 cents a pound, and May pork bellies were flat at $1.027 a pound..
