Grain futures mostly down, livestock mostly higher

[May 11, 2010]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Grain futures traded mostly lower Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery dropped 17.75 cents to $4.9275 a bushel; July corn slipped 1.5 cent to $3.705 a bushel; July soybeans gained 1 cent to $9.61 a bushel; and July oats fell 5.75 cents to $2.0025 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef futures traded higher and pork prices were flat to higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle gained .8 cent to 96.70 cents a pound; August feeder cattle rose 1.05 cents to $1.1592 a pound; June lean hogs gained .33 cents to 85.85 cents a pound; and May pork bellies were flat at $1.027 a pound.
