1st Lawnmower Run clips through city

Saturday around noon a group of 20 or more gathered in the back parking lot of the Lincoln IGA to hold what they hope will become an annual Lawnmower Run for Food. Entry into the run was $10 or a bag of nonperishable food items. All the proceeds went to the Logan County Food Pantry. Another picture is in today's Community section.

A lawn mower runner drops canned foods given by residents along the parade route into a box on the collection trailer.
