'Memphis,' 'Cage' top Outer Critics Circle winners

[May 18, 2010]  NEW YORK (AP) -- "Memphis" and "La Cage aux Folles" top the 60th annual Outer Critics Circle awards honoring the best in Broadway and off-Broadway theater, with each winning four awards.

Insurance"Memphis" won outstanding new Broadway musical. "La Cage aux Folles" won top revival of a musical in the awards announced Monday.

Catherine Zeta-Jones of "A Little Night Music" and Montego Glover of "Memphis" tied for outstanding actress in a musical.

The Outer Critics Circle is an association of writers and commentators for all media covering New York theater.

The awards will be presented May 27.
