Agriculture futures gain on Chicago Board of Trade

[May 19, 2010]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures traded higher Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery added 1 cent to $4.70 a bushel; July corn gained 4 cents to $3.60 a bushel; July soybeans rose 3 cents to $9.44 a bushel; and July oats edged up 0.25 cent to $1.91 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle added 0.60 cent to 93.10 cents a pound; August feeder cattle rose 0.77 cent to $1.1282 a pound; June lean hogs gained 0.45 cent to 81.95 cents a pound; and July pork bellies climbed 0.95 cent to 99.50 cents a pound.
