[May 21, 2010]  The Lincoln Christian University Seminary will lead a study tour through Turkey and Greece Dec. 27, 2010–Jan. 8, 2011. Seminary deans Dr. Robert Lowery, professor of New Testament, and Dr. Paul Boatman, professor of pastoral care and counseling, will host the tour. Whether you are a student, alum or friend of the university, this trip may be taken for college credit or for personal enrichment.

Habitat for Humanity is sponsoring a financial program on Sunday, May 23. Donna Boyd will discuss budgeting, credit ratings, credit card regulations and more. Time will be allotted for questions. Applications for a Habitat for Humanity home will be available at this program.

The event will be at the Community Center of the Logan Court Highrise, 1028 N. College St. in Lincoln, at 2 p.m.

The Lincoln Writers Club will celebrate its 10th anniversary at the June 8 meeting. The group will meet in the Alumni Room of the Lincoln College dining hall at 6:30 p.m.

Special guests will be present, and displays of some of the work of the members will be shown. Rebecca Johnson, who founded the club in the year 2000, will give a brief overview of the club's history.

All past and present members are invited to attend, and anyone interested in writing is welcome.

It was suggested that members write on the benefits they have received from attending a writers group.
