Grains prices rise, livestock futures trade mixed

[May 25, 2010]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures rose Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

InsuranceWheat for July delivery added 1 cent to $4.73 a bushel; July corn gained 2.25 cents to $3.7125 a bushel; July soybeans rose 10 cents to $9.51 a bushel; and July oats jumped 2.5 cents to $1.985 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle added 0.35 cent to 91.72 cents a pound; August feeder cattle slid 0.73 cent to $1.0942 a pound; June lean hogs were unchanged at 81.45 cents a pound; and July pork bellies gained 0.50 cent to 102 cents a pound.
