Grains futures slide on the Chicago BOT

[May 29, 2010]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Grain futures slid Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery dropped 10 cents to $4.5775 a bushel, while July corn plummeted 14.25 cents to $3.59 a bushel and oats for July delivery lost 5.5 cents to $1.91 a bushel. July soybeans sank 14 cents to $9.3775 a bushel.
Meanwhile, beef futures traded lower and pork futures advanced on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle fell 1.05 cents to 90.52 cents a pound, August feeder cattle slipped 0.08 cent to $1.0842 a pound, June lean hogs gained 0.68 cent to 81.85 cents a pound, and July pork bellies rose 0.85 cent to $1.029 a pound.
