Quinn thanked supporters at a downtown Chicago hotel and touted his
slim margin over Republican state Sen. Bill Brady of Bloomington.
With 98 percent of precincts reporting at 2 a.m. today, both men had
46 percent of the vote. Quinn's lead was just more than 9,100 votes
out of more than 3.6 million votes cast.
Quinn said he wants all the votes to be counted. But, he added,
when they are counted, he believes he will prevail.
