Grains futures rise, livestock prices trade mixed

[November 05, 2010]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures rose Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

WHardwareheat for December delivery jumped 23.5 cents to $7.1375 a bushel; December corn added 9 cents to $5.90 a bushel; December oats gained 16 cents to $3.775 a bushel; and soybeans for January delivery rose 37.25 cents to $12.6475 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle dropped 0.05 cent to 97.65 cents a pound; January feeder cattle shed 1 cent to $1.1040 a pound; December lean hogs gained 0.85 cent to 67.62 cents a pound; and February pork bellies were flat at $1.0450 a pound.
