Grains futures mixed, livestock prices mostly rise

[November 09, 2010]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures traded mixed Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

WheHardwareat for December delivery jumped 7.5 cents to $7.3625 a bushel; December corn dropped 2.5 cents to $5.8525 a bushel; December oats added 1.25 cents to $3.765 a bushel; while soybeans for January delivery slid 9.25 cents to $12.7475 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures traded flat or higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle added 0.85 cent to 98.40 cents a pound; January feeder cattle gained 0.85 cent to $1.1162 a pound; December lean hogs rose 0.20 cent to 67.15 cents a pound; and February pork bellies were flat at $1.0450 a pound.
