[November 10, 2010]  MOBERLY, Mo. -- The Lincoln Christian University Red Lions opened their men's basketball season with a 77-73 victory Monday evening over Central Christian College of the Bible.

LCU received a united effort as four players placed in double figures, led by Brady Cremeens with 16, Chris Lawson's 14, Gabe Cripe's 12 and Josiah Brock's 10. Five other players scored.

The Red Lions led through most of the game before Central Christian narrowed the gap to one point. LCU was then able to put the game away.

Starter Troy Lane was injured in the first minute of the game and saw very limited action, which caused the other players to make up for losing him.

The Red Lions will open their home season Friday at 7 p.m. when they host St. Louis College of Pharmacy.
