Grains futures drop, livestock prices mostly rise

[November 11, 2010]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures fell Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

HardwareWheat for December delivery slid 11.75 cents to $7.10 a bushel; December corn dropped 9.5 cents to $5.6675 a bushel; December oats tumbled 12 cents to $3.61 a bushel; while soybeans for January delivery shed 9.5 cents to $13.195 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures traded flat or higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle added 1.20 cents to 99.40 cents a pound; January feeder cattle gained 1.53 cents to $1.1495 a pound; December lean hogs rose 1.70 cents to 68.25 cents a pound; and February pork bellies were flat at $1.0450 a pound.
