Grains futures tumble, livestock prices drop

[November 13, 2010]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures tumbled Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

HardwareWheat for December delivery tumbled 34.75 cents to $6.6925 a bushel; December corn dropped 30 cents to $5.34 a bushel; December oats sank 19 cents to $3.395 a bushel; while soybeans for January delivery plunged 70 cents to $12.69 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures traded flat or lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle fell 0.65 cent to 98.40 cents a pound; January feeder cattle slid 0.67 cent to $1.1440 a pound; December lean hogs dipped 0.15 cent to 68.97 cents a pound; and February pork bellies were flat at $1.0450 a pound.
