[November 13, 2010]  The Red Lions men's basketball team of Lincoln Christian University improved their record to 2-0 by defeating the Eutectics of St. Louis College of Pharmacy 83-66.

LCU jumped to a 10-2 lead, and although the Eutectics got within two points at 12-10, they were never able to withstand the defensive pressure or overcome the quickness of the Red Lions.

The Red Lions got balanced scoring with four players in double figures: Christian Lowry 14 points, Kyle Rust 12, Gabe Cripe 11 and Sam Ernst 10. Eight other players tallied points.

LCU shot 51.5 percent from the field while the College of Pharmacy recorded 41.3 percent.

The Red Lions will play next at the Faith Classic in Ankeny, Iowa, Nov. 19 and 20.
