[November 15, 2010]  ANKARA, Turkey (AP) -- Cinemas across Turkey are showing a trailer for an upcoming Turkish action movie based on a true event: the Israeli raid on a Gaza-bound, blockade-busting flotilla that killed nine activists in May.

The movie, "Valley of the Wolves -- Palestine," is a spinoff from the controversial but popular Turkish TV drama series "Valley of the Wolves," and tells the story of a nationalist undercover agent who avenges the deaths of the eight Turks and one Turkish-American in the raid.

The TV series, and a similar one, "Separation," caused a diplomatic row between Turkey and Israel, and the movie, which opens Jan. 28, could too.

The trailer, with English-language subtitles, is being shown on the film's website: http://www.kurtlarvadisifilistin.com/indexeng.html.
