[November 15, 2010]  New this school year, Lincoln College has been teaming up with Mrs. Hepler's seventh-grade Lincoln Junior High homeroom class. Bridgett Thomas and her residence hall staff members Rachel Walsh and Katie Payne have created an "Adopt a Classroom" program that meets monthly at LJHS.

HardwareOn Nov. 9, Mrs. Hepler welcomed six male and female Lincoln College basketball players to her classroom. Veronika Chesnek, Shay Jackson, Jasmine Shipp, Louie Schonauer, West Dawson and Kiel Turpine talked with the seventh-graders about the importance of taking their education seriously, as well as getting involved with athletics, clubs or other school activities.

The students were then invited to be guests of the college at their Nov. 17 home basketball game when the men's team plays against Rend Lake.
