2010 Christmas parade -- Album 4
![Click on photos below to enlarge.]

This year the parade took place on a new night: the Friday after Thanksgiving. The parade organizers are the members of the Main Street Lincoln organization. That group had hoped that folks would stay in town for their Black Friday shopping and then linger to see the parade. There was a nice turnout for the parade, so perhaps Santa granted one of their wishes early.
For this year's Christmas parade there were approximately 40 to 50 entrants. As the parade made its way through town, participants threw out candy to happy children, waved and shouted out greetings to old friends and new, and for at least a few moments were truly the stars of the show.
