In what has become one of Lincoln's greatest holiday traditions, the Guzzardo family, staff and community volunteers served up over 500 free Thanksgiving meals for the community. Without asking or advertising, when the time came to get the meals delivered, a long line of volunteers in vehicles showed up to get the meals into homes.

They made the list and they checked it twice.

An assembly line of volunteers kept the meals coming out.

Getting meals into awaiting vehicles ran smoothly as well.

Salads, desserts and rolls are ready to go.

Everyone had a job to keep things moving along.

It takes a lot of gravy for 500-plus meals.
