Come to a meeting and learn whether you could qualify for a Habitat for Humanity home.

Habitat for Humanity of Logan County is inviting all those interested in learning whether they might qualify for a Habitat home to attend an orientation meeting Sunday, Dec. 5, at 2 p.m. The meeting will be in the Jefferson Street Christian Church Community Center, 1700 N. Jefferson St. in Lincoln.

Guidelines for home ownership and qualifications for acceptance into the program will be explained. Those who have already filled out an application and those who have not are both asked to attend. Applications will be available at the meeting for those who wish to apply for the program. If you have lived in Logan County for one year, you have already met one of the qualifications for home ownership with Habitat. If you put in 250 hours of sweat equity, you will meet another requirement. Find out the other requirements at the meeting.

Bring your questions, and Habitat will provide the answers.

Habitat may be contacted at 732-6412. You may also e-mail Habitat at volunteer@hfhlogancounty.com.
