The Lincoln/Logan County Chamber of
Commerce invites you to take a break and get out from behind those
desks or whatever work is tying you up or stressing you out, and
enjoy an afternoon of fun and networking. The chamber is hosting its
first Turkey Bowl on Nov. 5 at Logan Lanes, starting at 1 p.m. This
bowling event will be a fun-filled afternoon of games, appetizers,
music, prizes and a cash bar.

Participants may sign up as a team or as individuals. The chamber is
looking for 16 teams of four. There will be a first prize, second
prize and the distinguished last-place turkey prize. You're also
invited to design bowling team shirts or individual shirts. The
chamber hopes that you will take the opportunity to get creative, go
wild and show your team spirit. Prizes will be awarded to winners in
the team shirt and individual shirt categories.
The chamber's Turkey Bowl will consist of three games of nine-pin
no-tap. Nine-pin no-tap offers a great advantage because in addition
to the traditional 10-pin strike, if you knock down nine pins with
your first ball, it will count as a strike, too.
The music will be turned up, the lights turned down, and fun will
be had by everyone. The Turkey Bowl committee will sell 50/50 raffle
tickets and there will be other games and fun for bowlers and
spectators to partake in, including a silent auction. If you are not
a bowler, no problem. The Turkey Bowl needs spectators to enjoy
appetizers and drinks and cheer teams on to victory.
The Turkey Bowl is a great way for you and your staff to network
and foster team-building skills. This event is open to the community
and is a fundraiser to help the chamber fulfill its mission and
vision.
