Book signing with Dr. James Estep at LCU

[October 12, 2010]  Today (Tuesday), the Lincoln Christian University Bookstore will host a book signing with Dr. James Estep, professor of Christian education. Estep will be available to sign "Christian Formation: Integrating Theology and Human Development," published by B&H Academic. The event begins at 10:30 a.m. and ends at noon. Cookies and coffee will be available.

The book was co-edited by Estep and Talbot School of Theology's Dr. Jonathan H. Kim, also a professor of Christian education.

The book is for Christian education professors and students. "Christian Formation" provides a composite view of human development and learning from integrated theory, theology and educational practices in the church. The book integrates these elements into a cohesive foundational piece for Christian education.

Estep holds degrees from Cincinnati Christian University (B.A., M.A., M.A., M.Div.), Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (D.Min.), and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (Ph.D.).

The LCU Bookstore is located on the Lincoln Christian University campus, just off Route 10 on the east side of Lincoln.
