Grains futures, livestock prices mostly fall

[October 14, 2010]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Grain futures traded lower Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

HardwareWheat for December delivery fell 7.25 cents to $7.0275 a bushel; December corn dropped 9.75 cents to $5.6925 a bushel; December oats lost 3 cents to $3.80 a bushel; and soybeans for November delivery shed 2 cents to $11.765 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures mostly traded lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle dropped 0.83 cent to 98.47 cents a pound; November feeder cattle rose 0.87 cent to $1.0812 a pound; December lean hogs slid 1.07 cents to 71.70 cents a pound; while February pork bellies shed 1 cent to $1.02 a pound.
