Grains futures mixed, livestock flat or down

[October 15, 2010]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Grain futures traded mixed Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery shed 2 cents to $7.0075 a bushel; December corn slipped 2 cents to $5.6725 a bushel; December oats fell 4 cents to $3.76 a bushel; and soybeans for November delivery added 12 cents to $11.8850 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures traded flat or lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle dipped 0.20 cent to 98.27 cents a pound; November feeder cattle were flat at $1.0812 a pound; December lean hogs fell 2.85 cents to 68.85 cents a pound; and February pork bellies were flat at $1.02 a pound.
