LC coach Mark Tippett commented: "About a month ago we struggled
to beat RMC in five sets, so to earn a convincing four-set victory
over them is another indication of how much we have improved as a
team. We were steady in all aspects of the game tonight, which is
what every coach wants to see at this stage of the season. I am
confident that we will be playing our best volleyball as we head
toward the end of the season."
LC will host a triangular on Saturday featuring matches against
Millikin's JV team at 10 a.m. and Joliet Junior College at 2 p.m.
Prior to the 2 p.m. match, the team will take time to recognize the
sophomore players.
