Grains futures mixed, livestock prices mostly rise

[October 23, 2010]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Grain futures traded mixed Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

HardwareWheat for December delivery rose 2 cents to $6.7075 a bushel; December corn dropped 4.25 cents to $5.60 a bushel; December oats added 1.5 cents to $3.57 a bushel; and soybeans for November delivery shed 2 cents to $11.995 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures traded mostly higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle added 0.45 cent to $1.0170 a pound; November feeder cattle gained 0.90 cent to $1.1255 a pound; December lean hogs jumped 1.33 cents to 70.65 cents a pound; while February pork bellies were unchanged at $1.0250 a pound.
