[October 23, 2010]  LOS ANGELES (AP) -- A Food Network star could be moving from the kitchen to the New York governor's mansion.

"Semi-Homemade Cooking" host Sandra Lee is the longtime girlfriend of New York gubernatorial candidate Andrew Cuomo.

But Lee laughs when asked about the possibility of being the state's first lady. She says the only thing she wants to be is "first lady of cookbooks right now."

The 44-year-old Lee is promoting her new recipe guide, "The Complete Cookbook," and upcoming Halloween special.

With Lee and Cuomo's busy schedules, Lee says the key to seeing each other is organization. They spent last weekend decorating their home for Halloween.

"We just have fun," Lee says. "We're normal people. We're kind of boring, actually."

Lee's Halloween special debuts Sunday on the Food Network.
