[October 27, 2010]  BAGHDAD (AP) -- Iraqi police hospital officials said a bombing on Wednesday near the Baghdad headquarters of a state-backed Sunni organization killed two guards.

They said the northern Baghdad blast also wounded five people, including three other guards.

The bomb exploded at a security checkpoint about 500 yards (meters) from the main gate of the offices of the Sunni Endowment, which oversees Sunni mosques, religious schools and cemeteries.

A worker at Baghdad's Al-Numan hospital confirmed the casualties.

All officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to brief the media.
