[October 28, 2010]  Lincoln College (14-1-4) defeated Parkland College (9-9) in the Region 24 semifinals in Lincoln on Wednesday by the score of 3-1.

Edwin Moalosi opened the scoring when Stiven Salinas slotted him the ball. The next goal came when Moalosi paid back the favor, gave Salinas the ball and he put it away.

Parkland went on to score a goal that was taken back for an offsides call. The score at half was 2-0.

Lincoln scored the third goal from Isai Lemus winning a ball at midfield and passing to Salinas, who chipped the goalie from around 30 yards out. Parkland was able to score on one of their chances, but Lincoln held on to win.

With the win, Lincoln moves into the regional finals for only the second time in the history of the program. Lincoln will play the winner of the Heartland versus ICC match. The game will begin at noon Saturday at Lincoln.
