Grains futures mixed, livestock prices rise

[September 03, 2010]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures traded mixed Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

HardwareWheat for December delivery jumped 13.25 cents to $7.22 a bushel; December corn dipped 0.5 cents to $4.4625 a bushel; December oats were flat at $2.7975 a bushel; and soybeans for November delivery shed 1.5 cents to $10.04 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle added 0.75 cent to 98.50 cents a pound; October feeder cattle gained 0.85 cent to $1.1570 a pound; October lean hogs rose 1.3 cents to 76.25 cents a pound; and February pork bellies traded 0.25 cent higher to $1.0525 a pound.
