[September 03, 2010]  GALESBURG -- The Lincoln College men’s golf team placed 10th in the Carl Sandburg Charger Classic on Thursday at the par-71 Lake Bracken Country Club.

LC coach Kirk Whiteman commented: "We didn't play very well today! However, it was nice to see Lucas Woolridge break out with a nice round! We will host Carl Sandburg at the Elks on Thursday, Sept 9. They won this event with two of their players shooting 69. We have some work to do to get ready."
