Women's
golf The Lady Lynx golf team finished 11th out of 12 with a
team total of 823 at the Illinois College Invitational on Saturday
and Sunday. William Woods won with a team total of 635
The weekend event was at The Links of Jacksonville, par 72 and
5,962 yards.

Lincoln coach Carol Wilson commented: "We played much better the
second round with Ellen Turner, Alicia Berogan and Emily Cearlock
all turning in their personal best. With continued work on our short
game, I look for our scores to continue to get better this fall.
Ellen showed she can be competitive in her first collegiate match,
and I look for her scores to improve as she gains the experience."
Women's soccer
Lincoln College women's soccer lost 10-0 to
Southwestern Illinois on Saturday to drop to 0-4 on the season.
Despite the score, the Lady Lynx lost a hard-fought game to SWIC. The ladies played hard the full 90 minutes.
Once again Megan
Perry made some quality saves in goal.

Forest Park (3-2) 2, Lincoln College (0-5) 0
The Lincoln College women dropped a close one to Forest Park in
St. Louis when they returned to action on Monday.
The ladies came out and fought hard for 90 minutes. Forest Park
capitalized on two counterattacks. Kaitlyn Stauffer (Lincoln HS) led
the Lynx in the midfield and Alexandrea Reed worked hard up top but
was unable to capitalize.

Lincoln coaching comments: "The Lady Lynx put in a strong effort
today. We continue to battle some nagging injuries that have taken
some quality players out of action. We look forward to a few days'
rest to get everyone healthy to take on Merrimack on Saturday."
Volleyball
Lincoln College dropped two matches at an invitational tournament
in Texas on Saturday. The Lady Lynx lost to Galveston, Texas, in
three games and to Lee, Texas, in three games. Both opponents are
NJCAA Division I junior colleges.
Lincoln drops to 2-7 on the season. The Lady Lynx will play their
first conference and Region 24 game on Wednesday night in Lincoln
against Lewis and Clark.
