Grains prices mostly fall, livestock prices rise

[September 09, 2010]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures mostly fell Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

InsuranceWheat for December delivery tumbled 24.25 cents to $7.11 a bushel; December corn dropped 3.75 cents to $4.625 a bushel; December oats gained 1 cent to $3.04 a bushel; while November soybeans shed 3.25 cents to $10.4875 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures traded flat or higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle added 0.92 cent to 97.27 cents a pound; October feeder cattle were flat at $1.1242 a pound; October lean hogs gained 0.65 cent to 76.25 cents a pound; while February pork bellies traded 0.10 cent higher to $1.0560 a pound.
