Grains futures rise, cattle prices mixed

[September 10, 2010]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Grain futures mostly rose Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat fHardwareor December delivery increased 27 cents to $7.38 a bushel; December corn climbed 8.25 cents to $4.7075 a bushel; and December oats added 10.75 cents to $3.1475 a bushel. Soybeans for November delivery dipped 2.75 cents to $10.46 a bushel.

Beef futures traded lower while pork futures rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle slipped 0.35 cent to 96.90 cents a pound; October feeder cattle lost 0.67 cent to $1.1175 a pound; October lean hogs rose 1.07 cents to 77.37 cents a pound; and February pork bellies added 0.10 cent to $1.0570 a pound.
