The
Lady Lynx defeated Robert Morris College of Peoria 25-15,
25-20 and 25-18.
In Lincoln's second match of the evening they got past Elgin
Community College 25-17, 25-12, 26-24.
LC (4-8) is tied for first place in their pool with Rend Lake
College, who also won two matches on Friday.
The two teams will square off at 9 a.m. Saturday to determine who
will play in the championship match.

"We worked hard to sharpen up our serve receive game and saw a
lot of improvement in that area this evening.
"The passers gave our setters a good opportunity to spread the
ball around and keep our opponents guessing.
"It was good to see our hitters being aggressive at the net.
"We played with a lot of confidence tonight and can hopefully
carry that over into the second day of the tournament."
