The Catholic parishes of Logan Conty will host a six week journey called "Longing for the Holy", Spirituality for everyday life.

 This is being planned to take place beginning in October. Sign up for the session will be Sept. 4th and 11th after 5:00 P.M. Mass and Sept. 5th and 12th after 8:00 and 10:00 A.M. Masses. The Catholic parishes participating in this program include Holy Family of Lincoln, St. Thomas Aquinas of Mt. Pulaski, St. Marys' of Atlanta, and St. Patrick's of Elkhart.    Mannafest: Harvest of the Bands
 
 Mannafest: Harvest of the Bands is a fundraiser through Harvest of Talents at Lincoln Christian Church.
 
 This event is a 10-hour concert featuring ten Christian rock, metal, and alternative bands from all over the Midwest. All proceeds from this event go to International Disaster Emergency Service (IDES - www.ides.org) for the purpose of hunger relief. All bands are donating their time and talent so that every penny from ticket and concession sales can go to IDES.
 
 When: Saturday, September 25th from 1pm to 11pm

 The Lee Roessler Band
 Rock band from Lexington, KY
 Have shared the stage with Jeremy Camp and Stellar Kart
 Played at “The Fest” in Cleveland, OH in front of 20,000 people
 
 Look Up
 Rock/Alternative band from Lincoln, IL
 Currently working on their 2nd EP – Their debut EP is available at Berean Bookstore
 Performed on the 2nd stage at Agapefest this year
 
 The Sacred Eternal
 Christian Metal band from Atlanta, IL
 Played on the “New Band Showcase Stage” at Cornerstone this year
 Currently finishing up their EP
 
 Black Tea Shirts
 Alternative band from Mason City, IL
 Performs several great covers including Sadie Hawkins Dance by Relient K
 
 Without Cause
 Alternative/Rock band from Jefferson City, MO
 Will be touring with Look Up this fall
 Currently supporting their second EP, “Side By Side” and the single:
 “For Your Own Sake (To Whom It May Concern)”
 
 Oh Hope, Come
 Indie/Rock band from Champaign, IL
 Currently playing in support of their EP, “The Flood” featuring the single “Wire Heart”
 
 The Turtleheads
 Christian cover band from Clinton, IL
 Includes brothers Marcus & Evan Whitted from the band Vasche
 
 Altar Addicts
 Christian Rock band from Vicksburg, IN
 Playing with Children 18:3 in September
 
 White Linen
 Christian Rock/Alternative band from Decatur, IL

Lynn Laughlin ministering at Open Arms Christian Fellowship this Sunday

Lynn Laughlin, special assistant to the President and Associate Vice President of Alumni Services of Lincoln Christian University will be ministering this Sunday at Open Arms Christian Fellowship.
