The men placed fourth out of seven teams. They were led by sophomore
Jeff Wooldridge, who placed seventh overall with a time of 27:34.
The women placed sixth out of 10 teams. They were led by sophomore
Megan Herrman, who placed 54th with a time of 21:40.
LC coach Brian Herron said:
"We did a better job this week. This was a much harder course and
most of our runners had a significant drop in time. As long as they
continue to progress we should have a very good shot of placing in
the top 25 in the nation for both teams. The other big point today
was that we beat all the other two-year programs.
"Next week is a huge meet at ISU. I am very excited to see what
we can do against the best competition in the state of Illinois."
