[September 13, 2010]  The West Lincoln-Broadwell (12-4) baseball team concluded its regular season with a 7-2 win over Midwest Central at home.

Payton Ebelherr was the winning pitcher, completing the regular season with a perfect 6-0 record. He struck out seven MC hitters, while walking only one, allowing three hits and no earned runs.

Ebelherr had two hits, including a double, scored two runs and had an RBI. Levi Curry had a two-out, base-clearing double. Jordan Yarcho had a hit, run scored and an RBI. Kyle Fitzpatrick and Preston Ebelherr each had a hit and a run scored.

Dalton Presswood had a hit and an RBI. Brayden Curry and Preston Marten each scored a run.

The Wolverines open up play in the Hartsburg-Emden Regional on Saturday at 10 a.m. as the No. 1 seed against the winner of Hartsburg-Emden or Carroll Catholic-Zion Lutheran-New Holland Middletown. Chester-East Lincoln and Mount Pulaski play in the other semifinal at noon.
