Grains futures rise, livestock prices trade mixed

[September 14, 2010]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Grain futures rose Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery added 8.25 cents to $7.45 a bushel; December corn climbed 5.25 cents to $4.835 a bushel; and December oats rose 9 cents to $3.33 a bushel. Soybeans for November delivery gained 3.5 cents to $10.345 a bushel.

Beef futures rose while pork futures traded flat or lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle added 0.30 cent to 97.45 cents a pound; October feeder cattle rose 0.55 cent to $1.1237 a pound; October lean hogs dropped 0.95 cent to 76.30 cents a pound; and February pork bellies were flat at $1.0580 a pound.
