Despite the disappointing readings over the past two months, industrial production in the eurozone is still 7.1 percent higher in the year to July. However, that's down from June's 8.3 percent rise. Eurostat also said Tuesday that industrial production was unchanged for the wider 27-country EU, which also includes non-euro members such as Britain and Sweden. On a year-on-year baisis, industrial output was 6.8 percent higher, down from June's 7.9 percent.
