Ask the Chamber!

Very often our small businesses have limited resources, whether it be financial, or human, so we are always looking for ways the Chamber can be a great resource for our local businesses. We are offering this new section in our e-flash where we share commonly asked business related questions. These questions will come from, you, our local business community. We will post the question anonymously each week in the e-flash and then post a link to the answer on our website. Many times I hear the same frustrations, concerns and questions from multiple businesses, so we want to share this information hoping it will benefit everyone.

The Chamber is not an expert on every aspect of business or politics, but we have many many expert resources at our fingertips to help us help you. Please take advantage of this new Chamber benefit.

Where in Logan County is the Melon Car

The Melon Car will make a special appearance at a secret location on Wednesday, September 15. The first person to solve the clue as to where the car will be on Wednesday will win a prize.

Clue:

To serve the financial needs of Illinois farmers and agribusiness is our mission

From start to finish we are there to see your crops to fruition

We are farmer owned that's our tradition

Providing help with each and every transition

With loan officers available to help you prepare

And crop insurance to aid you in times of despair

Send in your guess or call the office 735-2385. The first person to guess correctly is the winner. A person can only win once every six months, and employees of the business hosting the Melon Car that week are not eligible to win. Only Chamber members in good standing can participate in the Melon Car contest.

*If your business would like to host the Melon Car, please contact Ally Leesman:
